5 years after having co-writed the Responsible Wine Tasting Charter with addictologist Hussam Al Mallak, this campaign really makes sense today. A convenient and comfortable way to break the codes of this gesture mastered by professionals and repelled by amateurs. During tastings, the spittoons are arranged everywhere. In the beginning, I inform of their presence and their utility. And I often find myself alone, accompanied by my team, to use them.
Very often, my guests do not want to offend me by spitting out what I produce. Then settles the embarrassment, in front of a gesture that we do not used to do daily, in public, with a drink that we appreciate.
I support Vin et Société brilliantly conducted campaign by reassuring anyone who is afraid of missing the vinified experience: the taste buds that make us appreciate wine are in our mouth, not at the bottom of our stomachs.
